Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how krishGames ("I", "me", "my" or "krishGames") collects, uses, stores and deletes information when you use my games and services.

I aim to collect only the information that is necessary to operate my games, provide online features and improve the player experience.

Information We Collect

Games Without Accounts

Most krishGames games do not require an account and do not collect personal information.

Some games may collect anonymous or automatically generated information, such as a randomly generated username and a high score, when using online leaderboard features.

For example, a leaderboard record may look like:

This information is used solely for the operation of the leaderboard and comparison of player scores.

Breakpoint and 20SUMS

Breakpoint and 20SUMS provide account-based features and therefore may collect and store information associated with your account.

Depending on the game and how you sign in, this may include:

  • Your email address.
  • A private email address supplied by Apple when using Apple's "Hide My Email" feature.
  • Your chosen or automatically generated username.
  • Game progress and game-related statistics.
  • Currency or other game resources collected during gameplay.
  • Information required to provide online game features.

In Breakpoint, this may include online and offline gold collected and other game-related metrics. This information is used to provide game functionality, maintain your progress and improve the player experience.

How Your Information Is Used

Information collected by my games may be used to:

  • Create and maintain your game account.
  • Save and restore game progress.
  • Provide online gameplay and leaderboard functionality.
  • Display usernames and scores where a game includes an online leaderboard.
  • Improve game performance and the player experience.
  • Identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Protect the security and integrity of the games.

Leaderboards and High Scores

Some games, including Burn the Witch and World Rank Paper Toss, may collect automatically generated usernames and scores for online leaderboards.

Only the information necessary to operate the leaderboard is collected.

Leaderboard information may be retained so that high scores can continue to be displayed. Where applicable, historical leaderboard data may be retained for the Top 10 scores.

You can request removal of your username and high score at any time by using the account/data deletion process described below.

Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated information for any krishGames game at any time.

This includes, where applicable, account information, email address, username, game progress, scores, gold/currency and other information associated with your account.

Please include the game name and the username or email address associated with the account so that I can identify the relevant account.

If you have accounts or data associated with multiple games, you can request deletion of all of them in the same request.

I will process deletion requests within a reasonable period and will delete the requested personal information unless I am legally required to retain particular information.

Once account information has been deleted, it may not be possible to recover your game progress, scores or other account-related information.

Where consent is required for the processing of personal information, I will request consent before processing that information.

Withdrawal of consent or a deletion request may result in some game features becoming unavailable, particularly features that require an account.

Data Retention

Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant game features, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and improve the service.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time using the process described above.

Some anonymised or aggregated information may remain after account deletion where it can no longer be used to identify you.

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

No method of storing or transmitting information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-Party Services

My games may use third-party services to provide authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising, online services or other functionality.

Where third-party services process information on my behalf, their own privacy policies and terms may also apply.

Children's Privacy

My games are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where such collection is prohibited by applicable law.
